Hi
I accept attempted to update to the iv.5 update across ii sites and had the same effect:

An mistake occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

or

Update Failed: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

The link to the Theme Update Details also seems to be broken.

Can you advise when this is going to be resolved.

There doesn't seem to be any info yet on an update on their changelog yet, or on ThemeForest. Eagerly pending.

The consummate 4.five changelog can be plant by downloading the theme again from Themeforest. It is in the zip file and is updated to include 4.5 changes, etc. Don't know why they just didn't copy/paste it to the version on the web-based documentation page.

Got the same problems – information technology'south not possible once more to update to 4.5. – aforementioned error bulletin as Eddygame.

Quite annoying to be honest since I have had this event too with update to four.4.i – I had to outsource it to somebody and pay for the update that it works. I don't want that this is going on this way!!!!

I've been very happy with your theme for ages and recommended it to all my clients but now I'g admittedly non happy anymore! So I hope you lot guys are coming upwards with a solution that works and is as user friendly as it was before all this!!!

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the issues. The update trouble should be stock-still in the latest release, which is 4.5. It'southward not working if you are running 4.4.1, since the fix was included in the current release. If yous should demand help updating to 4.5 then please open your own threads and include WordPress admin login details and FTP details in individual.

This trouble was not caused by united states of america, there was a change in the Envato API which changed the way they handle automatic update.

If want to endeavor to update the theme using this plugin then please try doing and so: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/, it should let you to update the theme with the .zip file which you tin can download from your Themeforest account.

You lot tin can simply become to Advent > Themes > Add together New > Upload Theme and upload enfold.zip file of Enfold 4.5 and theme will be overwritten.

is not working for me… tested on two sites and getting:

Now SEEMS TO WORK AS PER Beneath-

Regarding Bulletin – #1021645. –
Yigit, can you confirm that this is the case please. Practise I demand to cheque all my settings across xxx+ websites thoroughly afterward updating the theme via the zip??? I could take a copy of the theme settings on each prior to updating???

This is becoming quite a task – I am hoping that the fix mentioned within – four.5 – resolves this consequence.

Same effect here.
@meuwessen: I am pretty certain you will proceed all the theme settings etc. in example you are using a child theme of Enfold. I am testing this on my local setup correct now to run into what happens if I completely remove the enfold folder via FTP and then upload version 4.5.

What I have washed is:

1. Install Update Theme and Plugins from Zilch File

2. In plugin settings selected Cheque to ENABLE saving a backup copy of old version of theme or plugin when you lot upload new one

3. Uploaded and installed Enfold 4.five as new theme

4. Updated my token

5. All works fine and no changes noticed within the theme.

I tried to do it after downloading the newest version of the theme (4519990) and installing information technology Afterwards having installed the https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-nada-file/ plugin – just information technology answered: "The package could not exist installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.".

Also: i love the demos, only sometimes struggle to decode how they're done. Where can i come across what elements they are built of? Or should i install them beginning? And if so, how do i do that in a prophylactic place?

Y'all probably tried to install the whole zip file with everything including docs etc inside. Please extract that nil file to detect the enfold.goose egg file and try once again. This should end up that you will not have the "missing style.css" mistake over again.

Regarding your other question: A prophylactic place to play effectually and test new things can for example be provided by a service called "Local past flywheel" – just search for it and yous volition see what it is.
